If you’re like most people traveling to a new location for the first time, you have a tendency to want to “do it all”. Often, such an approach leaves one a bit exhausted, rather than refreshed, at the end of a vacation.

Few places epitomize the desire for such an approach better than the Big Island, Hawaii. Far from the enormous L.A.-like crowds on Oahu, the Big Island’s many activities constantly beckon, from riding in a submarine and whale watching, to touring the Kona coffee country, and of course, viewing the state’s ever-active volcano, Kilauea.
