A man believed responsible for as many as 30 robberies in the San Diego area since August is now behind bars, authorities said.

The suspect, Roger B. Jones, 45, was arrested when crossing the border from Tijuana into San Diego on the evening after Christmas, authorities with San Diego Crime Stoppers said.
