A 62-year-old woman is recovering from injuries after being struck by a motorist while riding her bicycle in Vista on Wednesday.

The unidentified woman was riding southbound in the 2000 block of S. Melrose Drive around 9:30 a.m.

She was outside the bike lane, which was under repair, San Diego County Sheriff’s Deputy D. Washington said.
