Travelers through San Diego’s Lindbergh Field Terminal 1 officially face the prospect of undergoing the infamous “full-body scan” beginning Tuesday.
Questions about the technology are legitimate. Consider that the Transportation Security Administration is asking for $573 million in taxpayer funds in the 2011 fiscal year to buy, operate and maintain the units.
