A leading travel travel authority is out with its list of the Top 10 U.S. Travel Destinations for 2012 and one of our favorite places, the Big Island, Hawaii, has made the list.

The Big Island Visitor’s Bureau kindly draws this titilating tidbit to our attention. The Lonely Planet folks’ interesting and honest guidebooks illuminate just about every corner of this big blue marble we know as Earth.
