An Imperial County education administrator has pleaded guilty to mail fraud charges in a San Diego federal court in connection with misuse of funds disbursed by the National Science Foundation.
Michael P. Klentschy, former superintendent of the El Centro Elementary School District, entered the guilty plea on Monday before U.S. Magistrate Judge Nita L. Stormes, federal authorities said in a statement.
